My name is Anurag Puri. I belong to Delhi, India. My love for domestic animals started when I was around 5 years old, when I used to see my maternal grandfather take care of his domestic cow. I was always amazed with the strange but strong bond that exists between us humans and our domestic animals.



My purpose of creating this website

Is mainly to get in touch with fanciers from India and abroad to be able to share experiences so that we may take this great hobby forward. I also wish to express my sense of disappointment to the fact that pigeon keeping in India is looked down upon in general.
 
 
 

Pigeon Care

1. Keep pigeons of each breed seperately.
2. Your pigeon loft should allow sufficient flying space and perches.
3. Provide for good ventilation and sunlight.
4. Keep your loft clean and absolutely dry.
5. Make arrangements to protect your birds from rain/extreme temperatures etc.

Feeding Tips

1. Always keep fresh water available inside the loft.
2. Keep it covered except at drinking point.
3. Always feed your birds in person - never leave it to someone else.
4. Give a mix of grains like wheat, maize, gram, pulses etc
5. Any type of grit like broken bricks, clay, marble chips is an essential part of pigeon feed.
